It was the perfect getaway for my wife and me. The location is walking distance from the square and restaurants. The place was clean, well maintained, and secluded enough to make us feel safe. The hot tub was also in good, clean, working condition.
We had a delicious dinner at "Chill's on th Creek" - It was decently priced and great scenery.
Negatives:
• Master bedroom & bathroom are to far apart
• Traffic is loud being that close to town and the road
*** Both are out of their control, and completely tolerable.
Thanks for helping make our 15 year anniversary memorable!

We had a great stay at this charming cottage in a great location! The house is close to a fairly busy road (for Wimberley), but a surrounding fence makes it feel very private, & the walls are thick so you don't hear any traffic noise inside. It was raining so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor seating area, but it was spacious & would be great to hang out in in better weather. The inside space was cute & comfy. The bedrooms are separated by the kitchen & living area so each feels quite private, & they each have their own bathroom & A/C, which made it a perfect place for two couples. The hosts were communicative & helpful - the house was stocked with many thoughtful extras, such as bags of chips, coffee pods, lots of throw blankets, nice soft robes, plenty of pillows and towels, etc., because of the rain they generously provided two large umbrellas in case we needed them, & when we asked if we could borrow an item we forgot, one of them was soon at our door to provide it. 4 thumbs UP
